The Balearic Islands are sited in the Mediterranean Sea, just simply some miles off the east coast of Spain. There are four islands that composes the Balearics are Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera. Mallorca, is also known as Majorca. Formentera is also an island that has not yet been urbanised as Ibiza and Majorca. It still does not have the airport service therefore one has to journey through ferry or hydrofoil which runs from Ibiza to Formentera on daily basis. This island is also pure due to the fewer visitor numbers. The natural beauty is still conserved to witness the real Balearics grandeur. It is resolutely made controlled to save the island from being polluted. These are the reasons for the fact why so many people are booking a last minute holiday to Balearics.
