The little beach town of Encinitas is located in North San Diego and boasts more than five miles of rugged and sandy shoreline with beautiful beaches – nine of them! You can swim, surf, read books, run, jog, play volley ball, or just relax because Encinitas has it all.
If you like to work out, you’ll find what you’re looking for at Stone Steps Beach. You can run these stairs 5 times every morning and be in the best shape of your life. These steep stairs lead down from the top bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offer fantastic views to enjoy while you work out. At high tide the ocean comes right up to the bottom of the stairs. At low tides, the beach is wide and sandy.
Swami’s Surfing Beach was put on the map by the Beach Boys song Surfin USA. It’s only four blocks from Moonlight Beach. You can walk the beach to Swami’s or drive down old historic Highway 101. The best surfers in the world still surf Swami’s every day – it’s almost a right of passage for surfers. You can also often scuba divers just offshore from Swamis at the Encinitas Marine Life Refuge, our own underwater park.
Moonlight Beach is only a three minute walk from the my favorite place to stay when I visit: the Inn at Moonlight Beach. Stone Steps Beach, Beacon’s and Grandview beaches are not far from the Inn, all within walking distance or a brief drive up Neptune Avenue.
You can learn to surf by taking a surfing class at Beacons Beach from the world-famous surfer named Kahuna Bob, a famous surf icon in Encinitas. His classes are great fun – just google Kahuna Bob Encinitas and you will be surfing in no time.
Moonlight Beach is very popular with visitors and locals alike because it has lifeguards, a great kids playground, spacious parking lots, safe play areas for kids, clean showers and restrooms, beach-gear rentals, a little snack bar and a world-class wide sandy beach.
Westin Times Square is very nice, Sheraton Manhattan is disgusting..Mandarin Oriental is very nice, Sheraton New York is nice ( Sheraton New York and Manhattan are across the street from each other so make sure you choose New York it is the nicer one) Marriott Marquis is nice, Hilton Times Square is nice, The is nice, PS..in New York especially at Christmas rooms are at a premium so you are probably looking at 600 per night for a decent room if not more.

Southaven is a good choice. It is not too far from Graceland and is within an easy drive to downtown. My recommendation would be to stay at the Drury Inn in Horn Lake. It's actually right across the interstate from Southaven and is reasonably priced ($50-$75)(the last I remember, I haven't been back in 2 years). It is at the Goodman Road/I-55 interchange. The area is relatively safe and across the interstate is a new mall with plenty of restaurants, etc. Plus, if you head west on Goodman Road from the Drury Inn and drive about 3-4 miles, then take a right onto Hwy 51 it'll take you right up to Graceland (about 6-7 miles further) I would not recommend staying in Southaven around the Stateline Road, area.
Whatever you do, if you want a pleasant experience of Memphis do NOT stay too close to Graceland. The area simply is not a safe one. You could stay downtown but then prices are higher and truthfully, the only safe part of downtown is really Beale St or directly in front of the Peabody hotel. The other areas are somehwhat shady.
Another place to stay is off I-40 on the east side of the city. There is a Holiday Inn express directly off there interstate and you could do a search of places near the Wolfchase mall area. It's a good area and the room costs are within your range, but the distance from downtown and Graceland would be a bit further.
Hey! you can stay at some of the cheap hotels near Indira Gandhi Airport like……Swisston Inn, Royal Palace Hotel, Astoria Hotel, Royal Holidays Hotel, HOTEL MOHAN INTERNATIONAL, GOVERDHAN PALACE.

I would say no.. I don't think they would risk that, Unless they take payment there and then. If they are taking payment after your stay or on the actual date of your stay then i doubt it.
