If you want to see all that Egypt has to offer then Cairo holidays can be a great place to start your search. Cairo is a great base to explore many of the Egyptian winders as some of the fantastic sights are just outside the city. You can visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. Cairo is also home to the Egyptian museum and to see everything you will need several days.

Just outside of Cairo are other fascinating sights that should be a part of your Cairo holiday and they include the Mastaba of Ti, Step Pyramid of Djoser, Pyramids of Unas, Pyramid of Sekhemket and many Persian tombs. You should schedule in plenty of time to completely explore these many fascinating sights.

These sights should be some of the first you plan as they are not to be missed. You should schedule in a few days to make sure you are able to see all that they have to offer.

The Cairo Citadel, which rests above the city was built in the 12th century and offers intriguing historical insight into Cairo as well as spectacular views down to the city below. Close to Cairo’s old northern gates is one of Egypt’s most revered mosques known as the Mosque of Sayyidna al-Hussein. The area around it has interesting markets and is a great place to wander and get a sense of the Cairo of the past.

Besides visiting all of the wondrous sights that are in and around Cairo many individuals just enjoy the pace of life. Everything is much more relaxed and you are encouraged to take your time.

A Cairo holiday can be a great vacation because the atmosphere and culture of Egypt is much more relaxed and slow paced then the hussle and bustle found in most individual’s lives. You are encouraged to have some coffee and just watch life and truly enjoy all that Egypt has to offer.
