The Cardiff City Football Club is known by the name of Cardiff Blues. It is a soccer team that is based in the city of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, UK. The Cardiff City Stadium is the home of this football club.

Whilst the story of the squad is not a decorous one, they have in recent times acquired good ground in the last couple of years and have become a sort of strength to reckon with. To the masses of Cardiff, it is a matter of pride and delight to back their home side.

Bluebirds started their play off this season 2009-10 versus Scunthorpe United at home, a relief for the Bluebirds as they may get ahead on the local support. In addition, it will be their beginning match versus any opposition team in the brand new sports stadium put up for them. In November the squad clashes with Swansea City; only this time the lovers will just have to go away from their town to inspire the Bluebird spirit.

In August the Carling Cup awaits the squad, where the 2 past years versus Liverpool the performance was dismal and not up to the grade. In the inaugural attack the Bluebirds will be looking to breakthrough a fresh start as they clash out against Dagenham and Redbridge. The stake will be played at home in the recently constructed sports stadium. The devotees certainly trust that this arena will be favorable for their squad and gives a careful inducting lesson booster for the remainder of the season to their successful team.

Rest assured the fans though are disappointed on the departure of their defender Roger Johnson but are still optimistic about the replacement which is in process and hope to find victories in this and coming seasons as well also with Eddie Johnson having learnt how to score on European soil and his persistent toiling in the practice secessions, let us hope luck and victory be on the great blue bird’s side.
