One foot off the plane and I knew I was in love with Costa Rica. This was the place ? the beginning and sometime the ending ? to my travels in Central America. First things first, get myself out of the airport.

I came to Costa Rica with no set itinerary. All I knew was that I wanted to seek adventure, learn Spanish and enjoy everything this bio-diverse country offers. Two days in San Jose was enough. Took the first bust to the Nicoya Peninsula in the morning. What a difference in location. Costa Rica?s climate changes rapidly due to the landscape. Mountains to beach offered a great surprise?.heat! Spending two weeks on the beach in Santa Teresa was great. Lots of Reading and surf lessons.

British Soccer Report

by Alan Fischer

This past week’s English Premier League action saw the “big 4″ all come out on top while the two pretenders to their governance had been both beaten. Aston Villa came back to where every person felt they might be, & Blackburn moved to where everybody hopes they’ll stay.

The first large event of the season produced a classic in forward play and a nightmare in defensive play as Manchester United got the best of Manchester City 4-three with Michael Owen popping up in the 6th minute of injury period to claim the victor after Micah Richards went off on his own instead of remaining with his guy.

Do you think you are paying too much for your hotel room? The short answer is, most likely. If you are like most other travelers and shop at one of the leading online travel sites you are probably paying too much.

Yes, its true that Expedia or Travelocity may offer the best rate for a specific hotel in a specific destination. However, if you do not comparison shop, you wont know if you are getting the best rate possible. Travelocity and Expedia can be very valuable, but if you were buying a car would you only go to one dealership? Let me answer that for you. No, you wouldnt and thats because you know you save money when you create competition. The same holds true for hotel rooms.

When traveling in Costa Rica, you must make it a point to visit Monteverde. The town is tucked away high in the mountains and the views are incredible. Monteverde offers a variety of tours of things to see and do.

One of the most thrilling tours you can experience while in Monteverde is zip lining over the canopy. They strap you to a cable and let you loose, to zip through the air, at extreme heights to see the canopy from a different angle. Add that and adrenaline together and you have a great combination.

Finding Good Yuba City Hotels

by R.C Davis

Finding good Yuba City hotels will be a must when traveling to or vacationing in the region of the city or its environs. Located in the inland areas of mid-northern California, to the northeast of the San Francisco Bay area, Yuba City is a vibrant and picturesque region to visit and vacation in.

There are many good hotels in the region, and a tourist or traveler will have little problem finding one to fit any budget. Some of these facilities range from relatively low-priced up to higher-priced, and most are of the national chain variety, so a good experience is normally had. All that’s needed is to check out the Internet and one of several hotel locator-type websites which list all of the hotels open for business in the town.
